In January 2025, Sandile Radebe collaborated with Berlin-based street artist Bona Berlin to create the Ucu Mural in Parkwood, Johannesburg. This project was part of a Goethe-Institut artist exchange program, supported by Trackside Creative and facilitated by Bongani Njalo. The mural reflects Radebe’s exploration of isiZulu identity within Johannesburg’s urban context, integrating indigenous knowledge systems, local slang (ringas), and graffiti techniques. The collaboration involved ten days of intensive planning, sketching, and community engagement, culminating in a piece that merges diverse artistic perspectives.
